Sydney + Michael // Modern Black + White Wedding in Old City Philadelphia

Sydney and Michael’s Black and White Wedding in Old City Philadelphia was one stylish party! The day started off at Hotel Monaco, with the bride and groom getting ready in their suites with plenty of bubbly! We arranged a first look at The Second Bank of the United States, for a dramatic, yet private moment. After some gorgeous pictures in Old City Philadelphia, the bridal party headed off to Headhouse Square for the ceremony. This open air marketplace was transformed into a chic ceremony spot with white florals and dreamy light in every direction. The Roving Bar was ready on site to provide guests prosecco and beer immediately following the ceremony! After a few glasses of bubbly, the guests were brought to La Peg, for the cocktail hour and reception. This amazing Old City space was amazingly chic with Sydney + Michael’s signature branding created by House of Catherine all over the venue! From the ubiquitous M+S logo to icons of their pups, they were able to put their personal touch on everything. After an amazing entrance filled with glitter and champagne, the reception area was finally revealed to the guests. Guests were wide-eyed as the wall retracted to unveil suspended floral clouds, a martini wall and a glamorous black and white tablescape. We grabbed Sydney and Michael for an outfit change and some amazing sunset pictures during dinner! Sydney was definitely channeling Marilyn Monroe in her Michael Lo Sordo party dress! The party really got started as the highly talented, Philly’s Finest Band started playing on stage. It was a packed dance floor all evening with guests also enjoying Weckerly’s ice cream and a dessert spread. Congrats Sydney and Michael on an epic wedding in Old City Philadelphia!
