We really felt like part of the family when it came to Alex and Emily’s intimate St. Lucia wedding weekend. The weekend began with a Catamaran cruise, where the happy couple and their 12 closest family members sailed around the island the night before the wedding. Alex and Emily truly went above and beyond to make sure their family, as well as Claude and myself, had the best time. Watching the sunset together was the perfect way to kick off the weekend of festivities.
The next day, Alex and Emily had their ceremony on the beach at Pigeon Island National Park. Their small group of guests had front row seats to watch the two exchange vows. Afterwards, they enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and music on the beach before making their way over to Cap Maison for the reception. Alex and Emily hiked through ocean and rocks to access their stunning reception venue, which was situated on a rock in the ocean – seriously incredible! Champagne was actually brought down via a basket on a ‘zip line’ rope from the restaurant above.
We loved being a part of Alex and Emily’s special wedding weekend. They are such an amazing couple who is up for anything and weren’t afraid to get adventurous with us, which resulted in some pretty unreal photos! Funnily enough, after we departed, we ran into the wedding party a few days later at the Sulpher Springs across the island…so of course we enjoyed a nice mud bath together! Congratulations Alex and Emily!
